The Beginning

Hello everyone,

You've reached the personal blog of Ohavemas (OH-HAVE-EE-MARS). My personal mission is to inspire other like-minded individuals out there to lead better lives. What do I mean by "better lives", you ask? That's entirely up to you.

The information and posts I share with you on this blog are just personal experiences, and should not be taken to apply to everyone. After all, our notions on what our 'perfect' way of living should be vary from one individual to the next. Rather, the one thing I wish for you to take away from this blog, is the revelation that your life is yours for the living. Hopefully, you will be motivated to find other ways in which you may enrich your own living experience.

Firstly, take a moment to ask yourself this, "Am I doing my life justice right now?" Think along the lines of your career, your relationships and other aspects of your life. If your heart feels heavy, you know that the truthful answer to that is 'no'.

To be honest, I've never thought about it myself until recently. It started when I became extremely concerned about my appearance as a prospective job opening depended very much on physical appearance. As sad and superficial as it sounds, I spent countless hours researching on how to improve my appearance, especially my skin. What I discovered shocked me: Our physical appearance, especially the skin condition, reflects the way we live our life. This should probably not have come as a shocking revelation, given that anyone with some sort of common sense would have figured that out, right?

Nonetheless, I studied the information I gathered extensively. I began to see how my skin condition reflected my unhealthy lifestyle. Junk food, late nights, aversion to drinking water but turning to sweetened drinks instead, poor hygiene, and the list goes on. The only thought in my head at that moment was "What the hell am I doing to my own body?"

In the posts to come, I wish for this blog to be filled with personal notes and testimonials of ways in which I have found to live my life for the better. From making the switch to organic products and staying clear of parabens to taking the plunge to go for my dream career, I hope that somewhere, somehow, you will be inspired to make the change as well.

Do follow my blog and feel free to leave any comments as I would love to hear from you. Till the next post, I hope you live a wonderful life! :)
